I hold DServe very close to my heart. Very close. And I am extremely grateful to the team who have given me this opportunity to be a part something so fulfilling and gratifying. The fact that we try to make lives of a few people better in whatever ways we can just makes me feel so content. I would do this all again and again, despite the time zone differences.
We’ve come a long way, and there’s a long way go to. And we’ll get there as long as we have each other 🙂

During my initial days, I was hesitant in joining the team. I was unsure that I can contribute to the cause. I also felt that I lacked the emotional strength. My first contribution to the team came in 2016 at Vasantham school. The event really went well. The joy on each child's face broke all my self doubts. It gave me a new desire that, I must do even more, even better to turn that one day of happiness to everyday. For that day, I always made sure I can contribute and participate in all the forthcoming events till date.

My time with D-Serve, though a short one, was a very positive one. I had the opportunity to be a part of their Christmas/new year event and their teaching initiative at SEED. It was really heartwarming to see the joy in the kids faces when we came in bringing candies, gifts and things for them to play with. Our hope was to make the kids' day special, but along the way, it made our day special too. The teaching initiative at SEED was my first experience with teaching school-aged kids. It was very nice to see their curiosity to learn, and made me understand that if taught in the right way, everyone would enjoy learning. We tried to explain the topics in terms of games and through a more interactive way so as to make the experience more engaging to the students. It was also a lot of fun to convert the study material in this way. Overall my memories with D-Serve are those I'd cherish lifelong.
